Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking a English Teacher to join a well‑established school in the South Tyneside area, the role is to begin after Easter 2026 and is on an ongoing basis.
The Role:
* Teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
* Assessing and tracking student progress
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification
* Experience teaching English at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
Pay range: £162.31 - £223.62, linked to your current teacher pay scale.
