The Role You will be a key member of the clinical team, supporting veterinary surgeons in delivering high standards of care while promoting pet wellbeing and preventative health. Typical responsibilities include: Anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing Inpatient care and patient monitoring Nurse consultations and clinics Laboratory work, radiography and diagnostics support Assisting veterinary surgeons with procedures and treatments Supporting euthanasia procedures with compassion and professionalism Dispensing medication and maintaining accurate clinical records Preparing theatres and clinical areas for procedures Participating in stock control and equipment maintenance There may also be opportunities to act as a clinical coach for Student Veterinary Nurses, supporting their development and training within the practice. Working Pattern 39 hours per week 4 days per week 1 in 4 weekends Duty nurse care nights on rotation This rota provides a strong work-life balance while maintaining continuity of patient care.
