As one of the UK's largest pharmacy chains, we're committed to making healthcare more accessible and delivering trusted services to the communities we serve.
We're now looking to hire a Content Manager responsible for leading & designing web content to meet the expectations of our customers and deliver value across the Bestway Healthcare businesses. The role will include optimising pages for the best-in-class customer journey; ensuring the content drives response & supports the customer mission. The Content Manager will be Accountable for keeping our websites aligned to brand & campaign messages with commercial impact.
Main Responsibilities
* Accountable for the creation & deliver the content strategy & roadmap across BWHC websites.
* Responsible for optimising web content on key pages to support our Omnichannel business objectives.
* Advocate for, and demonstrate the value of customer-centred, data-led content.
* Responsible for turning complex concepts into simple, clear content.
* Responsible for understanding & utilising key KPI data to optimise web experience; and use in planning of content.
* Responsible for working with teams to optimise content for search & campaign objectives.
* Accountable for understanding how to communicate multiple messages on key pages of the site.
* Accountable for competitor research to continuously develop our site.
* Work with our clinical specialists to ensure all content is clinically safe.
* Accountable for CMS management for SEO, such as publishing & editing content.
* Identify & assess opportunities to optimise existing content to maximise rank & traffic.
* Work to discover, understand and meet the content needs of our customers, ensuring content is delivered at the right time, in the right format, and in a way that people can easily consume.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Content Manager with a comparable sized business. They will ideally have the following experience:
* Ideally (but not essential) has worked both client-side & within an agency.
* Good understanding of healthcare (& some exposure to retail).
* Should be a subject matter expert with a passion for content marketing & eCommerce.
* Excellent communication skills.
