About Ultracell
Ultracell is a British battery manufacturer founded in 1999, supplying reliable energy storage solutions across the UK and internationally. Our products support applications across telecoms, security, renewable energy, industrial and backup power sectors.
We're a friendly, growing team based in a modern, welcoming office environment, and we're looking for a Web Developer to support and develop our digital platforms as the business continues to grow.
The Role
This is a practical, hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving our websites and digital tools. You'll work closely with marketing and internal teams to implement updates, build new pages and support digital campaigns — without the pressure of being a designer or a specialist in every tool.
You'll be involved in:
• Developing and maintaining web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Implementing updates, landing pages and content changes across our website(s)
• Supporting digital and email campaigns from a technical perspective
• Working with modern tools and workflows, including AI-assisted tools such as Lovable
• Experience with Lovable is a plus, but not essential — we'll support familiarity
• Occasionally working from or alongside design tools (such as Figma) where helpful
• Familiarity with tools like this is an advantage, not a requirement
• Handling and implementing visual assets using Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• No design perfection expected — just the ability to navigate files and build from them
• Ensuring websites remain responsive, functional and up to date
About You
We're looking for someone who:
• Has a good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Is comfortable working in a commercial, fast-moving environment
• Is curious and open to learning new tools, including AI-powered platforms
• Has some awareness of email campaign tools or digital ecosystems
• Is organised, proactive and enjoys practical problem-solving
• Can work well as part of a team and communicate clearly
• Salesforce experience is a plus, but not essential
What We Offer
• A great team with a friendly, down-to-earth culture
• A lovely office environment in Liverpool
• Real responsibility and exposure to meaningful commercial projects
• Opportunities to develop skills across web, digital and systems
• A supportive environment focused on progress, not perfection
