Our client is seeking an Operations Coordinator with a strong manufacturing or workshop background to join their Aberdeen team on a 12-month contract. ROLE To provide a proficient and effective coordination, and support to the Workshop and Project Management teams. To coordinate and drive on time delivery targets for our customers. Ensuring accurate and timely updating of management systems to drive efficiency through the shop, reduce repair lead-times and reduce costs. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for understanding and applying all HSE and company mandated policies and requirements, to prevent injury to self or others. Accountable for the management of lifting equipment and Responsible for ensuring Tooling/Service lifting gear register is accurately maintained Responsible for driving planning and coordination efforts to reduce repair lead-times through the workshop. Responsible for planning and coordinating on-site inspection requirements (FM, Lifting, Premium Thread) Responsible for planning and coordinating pre-survey cleaning of tools and equipment entering the workshop. Responsible for maintaining oversight and reporting on tools and equipment statuses end to end in the maintenance process. Live location of tools and spares Lead-times, forecasts and current status of tool and component spares, repairs and subcon. Physical confirmation of tool and equipment movements Shipping receipt on site Dispatch for repair/subcon Incoming receipt from repair/subcon Responsible for initiating OSP Requirements for any subcontractors rework or coating based on survey information. Responsible for assessing the financial impact and cost benefits of rework, replacement or substitution of tools or components Responsible for updating tool Unit Configurations. Responsible for maintaining and updating tool tracker with progress statuses. Working conditions: Office-based, with regular time spent on the shop floor engaging directly with the team REQUIREMENTS Essential: Experience coordinating inspections, pre‑survey cleaning, subcontractor activities, and managing OSP requirements based on survey findings. Ability to maintain full visibility and reporting of tools and equipment throughout the maintenance lifecycle, including status tracking, movements, lead times, forecasts, and financial impact assessments strong hands-on background in manufacturing operations Desirable: Highly motivated and driven, with exceptional communication skills.
