An exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Specialist Nurse to join the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells ADHD Team. The role requires full registration with the NMC and ideally post‑graduate qualifications relevant to ADHD.
Responsibilities
* Assess and treat patients presenting with ADHD.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, including understanding of co‑morbidity, mental illness in children and safeguarding practices.
* Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) and professional meetings concerning patient caseloads.
* Manage the ADHD pathway within CYPMHS, supervising a caseload of children and adolescents and delivering evidence‑based treatment.
* Support peers and team leaders; work independently and supervise other staff as required.
* Collaborate with health and social care professionals and agencies.
Qualifications
Qualified nurse, fully registered with the NMC. Preferably holds post‑graduate qualifications relevant to ADHD.
Additional Details
The position is based at Orchard House in Broadstairs and is not suitable for remote working.
New starters will be welcomed on the first Monday of each month, with a comprehensive up to two‑week induction including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. Induction occurs at the head office in Rainham, Essex.
