The Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our new childrens residential home. Youll play a central role in designing and delivering a high-quality service that reflects your passion and vision for excellence in care. Key Responsibilities Lead the full setup and day-to-day management of the childrens home. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children. Operate in line with Ofsted regulations and the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Develop and implement individualised care plans with support from our behavioural team. Recruit, lead, support, and supervise a dedicated care team. Oversee budgets, staffing, resources, and administrative functions. Foster strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a childrens residential setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or equivalent). In-depth knowledge of Ofsted standards and childrens home regulations. Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills. A genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to safeguarding. Full UK driving licence (required).
