Salary: £49,492 - 58,226 per year Requirements: Significant experience in a similar role as an Information Security authority at a senior level Strategic level business/IT planning experience Recognised security qualification e.g. (ISC)2 CISSP, ISACA CISM or CISA Strong working knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR and DPA 2018) and PCI DSS Familiarity with security and technology frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST and TOGAF Proven experience in managing teams and complex technical environments Ability to demonstrate good governance and compliance experience across on-prem and cloud technologies Responsibilities: Ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the RNLIs Information Security function Deliver tactical assurance activities, real-time threat monitoring, incident triage and response Manage and lead the Information Security team, ensuring they remain skilled and responsive to emerging threats Maintain a strong, resilient operational security posture for the RNLI Communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff Oversee the protection, detection and response capabilities safeguarding the Institutions information systems, assets and data Technologies: Cloud Security TOGAF More: We are the RNLI, dedicated to saving lives at sea, and were looking for a professional and talented Information Security Manager to join our Information Security Team for up to 24 months.
