Hours: Full-time/Part-time 9:30-5

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lunchtime Assistant to join the kitchen staff of a well-established, family run children's nursery.

About the Role
This could be your perfect role if you are…
* This role will be multisite and may require to travel between our three nurseries.
* Passionate about keeping our environment clean - you will have the responsibility of keeping all common areas of the Nursery clean and hygienic, creating a welcoming environment for the children.
* Passionate about preparing food – you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality food cooked from menus devised to meet the nutritional needs of the children and in line with our Food for Life Award.
* Highly organised – you will effectively co-ordinate the daily operation of the nursery kitchen.
* Self-motivated – this is a varied role, and so you will be able to effectively manage your time.
* A true team player – you are an active participant and will exhibit commitment to the team in working co-operatively and providing support to the other nursery staff.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following…
Skills and Knowledge:
* Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
* Knowledge of Environmental Health requirements regarding personal hygiene, food hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas and equipment
Experience:
* Experience of working in a similar position within a nursery environment (Desirable)
Qualifications:
* Food Hygiene Certificate at Level 2 or equivalent (Essential)
