Overview
Applications are invited for a University Assistant/Associate Professorship in Bioelectronic Systems. The successful applicant will be based in the Electrical Engineering Division and will contribute to research on the application of electronic engineering to bioelectronic systems, including the development of analogue and digital circuits for implantable and wearable bioelectronic devices.
The Department of Engineering is one of the world’s most integrated engineering departments, and the largest in the University of Cambridge. The successful applicant will be expected to build on the current track record in electronic engineering and bioelectronics through research in bioelectronic hardware.
Responsibilities
* Provide innovative teaching in electronic engineering, including bioengineering, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Contribute to laboratory coursework and supervise undergraduate projects.
* Examine and supervise postgraduate research students.
* Engage in research on bioelectronic hardware in areas including analogue and digital circuit design for implantable and wearable devices.
Qualifications
* Expertise in electronic engineering with a focus on bioelectronic systems and hardware.
* Ability to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision.
Location
Based in the Engineering Department's Electrical Engineering Division on the University’s Cambridge West Campus.
