Receptionist / Driver – South Essex (Basildon, Thurrock, Southend) - Out of Hours Must hold a full, clean, manual UK driving license. This role is an exciting blend of responsibilities: Receptionist duties : Welcoming patients with compassion and ensure confidentiality. Handling a variety of patient needs, including appointment booking, comfort calls, and dealing with sensitive situations. You’ll need excellent empathy and strong IT skills to navigate systems while offering support, especially in moments of distress. Ensuring 2 x way communication with the call centres to ensure efficient operations. Accurate record keeping Driver duties : Conduct vehicle and equipment checks and safely transport clinicians to home visits where they’ll provide essential care. You may also be accompanying clinicians into patient homes. Ensuring correct use of equipment and vehicles at all times. Every shift offers variety, making it an engaging role while providing the opportunity to make a real difference in the community.
