The Role
We are on the lookout for a brilliant Technical Account Executive to join our Sales and Billing department. This is a highly customer-facing role in which you will be the friendly, reliable voice at the end of the phone for our clients.
Because you will be the first point of contact for our managed clients, this isn't a standard sales job. You don't need to be a 2nd Line Support Engineer, but you absolutely must have a solid, working knowledge of web hosting. When a client calls with an issue, you need to understand the technical context, ask the right questions, and know exactly what they need before helping them or passing them on to our technical team.
Alongside this, you will handle billing enquiries, drive sales across our multiple brands, and serve as a dedicated account manager for our premium clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
Acting as the primary point of contact for inbound sales and billing queries across multiple brands.
Answering calls from managed clients, requiring a good technical understanding of web hosting environments to assist or triage effectively.
Serving as a dedicated Account Manager for premium clients, ensuring their services are running smoothly and identifying opportunities for upgrades or bespoke solutions.
Navigating a fast-paced environment, seamlessly switching between brands, billing platforms, and support desks.
Resolving customer queries with patience, clarity, and a cool head under pressure.
What We're Looking For:
Web Hosting Knowledge: You know your way around domains, hosting packages, SSLs, and basic server concepts. You can talk tech with clients without blinding them with jargon.
Customer-First Attitude: You are patient, empathetic, and genuinely enjoy helping people.
Commercial Awareness: You are comfortable discussing billing, managing accounts, and spotting opportunities to offer clients better solutions (sales).
Adaptability: We operate multiple brands, so you need to be organised and comfortable spinning a few plates at once.
Brilliant Communicator: Whether over the phone or via email, your written and spoken English is exceptional.
Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
