SEN Teaching Assistant - M9 Monarch Education are in partnership with an primary academy in the M9 area of North Manchester. They are looking to recruit a selection of SEN Teaching Assistants from EYFS to Year 6, to start in September 2025. The school is well resourced and has a warm and welcoming environment for staff and children. You will be fully supported through the academy trust with CPD, training and resources. This role is ideal if you have career aspirations in the field of teaching, psychology, criminology, social work, probation services, care or if you simply love working with children! R esponsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant include: Providing one-on-one, and group support to students with Autism, ADHD, global development and SEMH needs. Working alongside teachers and other support staff. Creating a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere and environment. Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation Requirements of an SEN Teaching Assistant include: Desire to work with children with special educational needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Proactive approach.
