The role
Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for Plasterers to work with some of our valued clients in St Andrews. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.
Duties to include:
Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and removing old materials.
Mixing plaster, cement, and other finishing materials to the correct consistency.
Applying plaster, render, or stucco to interior and exterior surfaces.
Smoothing and leveling surfaces using trowels, floats, and other hand tools.
Installing and repairing decorative plasterwork, cornices, and moldings.
Repairing cracks, holes, and damaged plaster surfaces.
Applying finishing coats and textured finishes as required.
Measuring and estimating materials needed for projects.
Erecting and working from ladders, scaffolding, and access equipment.
Following construction drawings, specifications, and building standards.
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
Complying with workplace health and safety regulations.Requirements:
CSCS Card required
Good attention to detail
Full PPE
Location and hours:
St Andrews
Monday - Friday 07:30-17:00
WeekendsPayment:
£22 - £23
CIS,PAYE and UMBRELLA
