FUNCTION
To technically support operations by developing, optimising and improving manufacturing processes (CNC Machining, presswork, laminate) to enhance productivity, quality and safety.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvements and recommend appropriate solutions
2. Monitor and analyse performance metrics, cycle time, rates per hour, yield and scrap and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets
3. Provide technical support to resolve process related issues
4. Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures
5. To assist in New Product Introduction and provide manufacturing and technical expertise
6. To produce CNC programs for a variety of machine tools
7. Collaborate with Team Leaders, manufacturing team members and build relationships with tooling suppliers
8. Participate and implement improvement programs and initiatives using Lean Manufacturing strategies
9. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in production technologies, methodologies and best practise

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Significant experience in a Manufacturing / Process Engineering roleFamiliar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modellingAdept at working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and understand technical drawingsDemonstrate knowledge and experience on CAD/CAM systems (Solidworks/Alphacam/Catia)

Shifts:
Note: we operate a 4 day working week (37.5hours)
31. Day Shift - Monday to Wednesday - 07:00 to 17:00 & Thursday 07:00 to 16:30
32. Earlies - Monday to Wednesday - 06:00 to 16:00 & Thursday 06:00 to 15:30
33. Lates - Monday to Wednesday – 13:00 to 23:00 & Thursday 13:00 to 22:30
