Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-resourced and supportive SEND school in Hillingdon that specialises in supporting primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is seeking a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026.

Your Role:
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who have SEMH needs
Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils re-engage with learning
Use positive behaviour strategies to promote confidence, resilience, and self-regulation
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver personalised learning plans
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or additional learning needs
A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with young people
A genuine passion for helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
