One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Head of Contracts Management on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview: * The role will be based in Hereford, on site a minimum of 2 days per week. This will be an initial 6 month interim role with the potential to be extended. * Economy and Environment are looking to consolidate its approach to contracts management with the aim to bring other major contracts into scope. A key part of the role will be to engage with key stakeholders to bring additional contracts into scope. * The Contracts Management team reports to the Director Commercial Services who has responsibility for Contracts Management within the Economy & Environment Directorate, Property Services including Estates, Investment and Retail, Facilities Management and Capital Programmes, and broader commercial activity across the council.
