Description Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and tax requirements. Manage payroll reporting and provide insights to the Accounting & Finance department. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related queries efficiently. Implement and optimise payroll systems and processes. Lead system implementation Support audits and ensure all payroll records are maintained accurately. Lead and develop the payroll team to meet departmental goals.Profile A successful Head of Payroll should have: Proven experience in Payroll Management or Head of Payroll position A strong understanding of UK & Irish payroll legislation and tax regulations. Proficiency in payroll software and accounting tools. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.Job Offer A competitive salary range of £70,000 to £78,000 GBP, based on experience. Hybrid working with a 3/2 split between York office and home. Generous holiday allowance and additional company benefits.
