Band 3 Healthcare Assistants are sought to join our dynamic teams across Beech Ward (20 bedded male acute psychiatric inpatient), Oak Ward (22 bedded female acute psychiatric inpatient), and Maple House (6 bedded male Psychiatric Intensive Care unit) at Royal Bolton Hospital. Vacancies exist within all three wards.
The Trust values high-quality care and a recovery-focused approach. Knowledge of inpatient care is desirable but not essential. You will be supported by the team and manager to develop your skills and promote recovery and well-being for service users.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and assist professionally qualified staff on the ward/department.
* Deliver direct nursing care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
* Perform administrative and ancillary duties as required.
* Demonstrate a positive, recovery-focused attitude toward service users.
* Be prepared to work across sites and cover shifts 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including rotation between wards.
* Complete the Trust 5-day PMVA training to identify, prevent and manage aggression in the workplace.
