Overview
Registered Nurse – Orchard Care Homes, Riverdale Care Home, Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 7LL. £22.28 per hour. Flexible for Days and Nights - 22 hours per week.
Introduction to the role
Orchard Care Homes is at the forefront of delivering high quality individual care to meet the person’s needs. You will work closely with our care team and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure all individuals receive the highest standard of person-centred care. You will assess the individuals’ needs and formulate person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Administering medication safely is paramount; our nurses are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medication used in our homes. A key part of the role is supporting care staff to deliver high quality care. You will need to be a team player, passionate about developing a team ethos, and have a current NMC registration and knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices. You will be experienced in producing well-developed care plans and understanding regulatory frameworks. You should be dedicated, compassionate, approachable, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
Main duties
* Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high personalised standard of nursing care which meets the individuals’ needs and the high standards expected at Orchard Care Homes.
* Ensure individuals are treated with respect and dignity and that their rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.
* Be a team player who leads, supervises, supports and develops the care team.
* Maintain excellent communication and liaise with external professionals, individuals and relatives.
