We are currently supporting a large global manufacturer to find a reliable Site Operative to join their dynamic team at the Quarry. * Location: Barcaldine

Rate: GBP18.00ph : GBP24.00ph
*
Shift Pattern: 1 week on, 1 week off (Working 7 days a week, 7:00am : 7:00pm / 84 hours per week)
*
Contract: 3 months initially, with a very strong view to go permanent
*
Start Date: ASAP
You will stay on:site with all expenses paid for 7 days, followed by a full 7 days off to relax and recharge
As a Site Operative, your duties will include:
*
Maintaining excellent general site standards and maintenance.
*
Cleaning spillages from under the production lines.
*
Moving site waste safely using a wheelbarrow.
*
Operating on:site machinery (if you hold the valid tickets).
*
Practising and upholding the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times.
Ideally, you possess the following:

Previous experience in a labouring or heavy industrial role.
*
The physical capability to handle manual lifting and stand for long periods.
*
A solid understanding or baseline knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
*
A driving licence and access to a car is desirable due to the sites location, though public transport options are available.
