Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in driving financial performance, business growth and operational excellence across our clients multi-site retail/distribution operations. Strategic Finance Leadersh ip: Partner with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute financial strategies that support profitable growth. Provide insights on site performance, market expansion, and pricing strateg
* ies.Multi-Site Operations & Performance Managem ent: Oversee financial performance across 70+ locations, focusing on site profitability and efficiency. Implement standardised reporting and KPIs for performance comparison and improvem
* ent.Inventory & Supply Chain Finan ce: Develop inventory management strategies that balance availability, cash flow and risk. Implement robust stock valuation and provisioning procedu
* res.Business Partnership & Commercial Insig ht: Act as a strategic business partner to operations, purchasing and sales teams. Develop pricing strategies and margin analysis to maintain competitive advant

Required Skills & Qualificat

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 8+ years post-qualification exper
* ience.Experience as a Finance Director or Senior Finance Manager in a multi-site retail, distribution or motor factor enviro
* nment.Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of price-sensitive B2B ma
* rkets.Advanced financial analysis skills, focusing on site-level profitability and performance me
* trics.Strong systems integration experience, particularly with ERP implementations and multi-site reporting plat
* forms.Proven leadership capabilities, able to operate independently and manage diverse teams across distributed opera
tions.
