Reporting to the Financial Controller, they are seeking a personable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to support their busy finance team. They are looking for someone eager to learn, who is happy to assist with a variety of tasks, no matter how big or small.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Scanning and processing high volume of purchase ledger invoices
* Data entry onto their bespoke accounting software
* Posting and allocating payments
* Assisting with daily bank reconciliations
* Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance administration tasks
* Preparing basic reports for management
* Filing invoices and financial documents
* Maintaining financial records and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel work)
* Assisting the Credit Controller with raising sales invoices
* Assisting with customer account queries
Our client is ideally looking for someone with some previous experience in a similar role. However, the key requirement is a strong desire to learn and grow within the organisation. Confidence in using Microsoft Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, is essential.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to build a career in the accountancy profession. Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
