About the Role
• Teaching DT across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities available depending on specialism)
• Delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons
• Supporting students with coursework, design portfolios and practical assemblies
• Contributing to extra-curricular and enrichment activities
• Engaging in regular CPD and collaborative departmental planning
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and presentation
• Playing a role in the wider school community through events and cross-curricular work
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in DT, Product Design, Engineering or related subject
• PGCE with QTS
• Strong practical and technical workshop skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to inspiring young designers
• Confident in delivering safe and effective practical lessons
Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS.
