About The Role
Lloyd & Whyte, part of the Benefact Group, is looking for an Account Handler to join our Direct Corporate Risks team in Billericay.
As an experienced Insurance Account Handler, you will work alongside the client servicing team to process vehicle adjustments, update the MID, liaise with clients and insurers, input data, and invoicing new clients.
The successful candidate must be organised, personable with a strong eye for detail and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing
* Answer telephone enquiries and handle policy amendments on motor fleet policies, including MID updates and risk discussions with insurers and clients.
* Negotiate terms and quotes with underwriters.
* Manage accounts, conduct renewal follow‑ups and close file closures.
* Carry out vehicle amendments and adjustments, updating the Motor Insurance Database.
* Process new business, set up finance and issue documentation.

* Proven experience in the UK insurance industry.
* Outcome focused, self‑motivated, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage your own time and prioritise work independently to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong contribution to the team through ideas, initiatives and concepts.
What Makes You Stand Out
* Hold or be willing to hold a Certificate in Insurance.
* Previous experience in Property, Liability or similar UK insurance sectors.
