This post is to support Clatterbridge Dialysis Unit. The housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work alongside the Nursing team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, a functional working environment, and adequate stock levels for units with a high turnover of patients requiring a high volume of stock.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all clinical equipment
* Ensure all equipment and the clean room / Mops room environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not
* Maintain clinic equipment in good working order and liaise with Ebme for repair of faulty equipment. Ensure pat testing of all equipment is up to date
* Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required
* Ensuring adequate stock levels in high turnover units. Reporting any issues with stock
