A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a well-regarded firm of solicitors based in North West London.
Working within the residential conveyancing team, this role offers training and hands-on exposure to both pre-completion and post-completion work in a dynamic workplace.
This role is ideally suited to a recent law graduate who has gained some practical exposure to legal work, such as internships, paralegal experience, or work placements and who is motivated to build a career in law.
Duties include:
* Assisting with a range of post-completion tasks, including completing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms
* Processing applications and registrations at Companies House
* Supporting pre-completion work, including liaising with fee-earners, mortgage lenders and clients to obtain documentation and updates
* Providing administrative support to fee-earners on their caseloads, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
Key Skills & Requirements:
* Legal degree - essential
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
