(based on FTE £24,745 - £26,155 p. a. ) depending on experience and qualifications Job Advert Academic Department Administrator - Part time- 18 hours - Flexible across the working week - based at Broxbourne & Ware Campus - Salary £12,372. 50 - £13,077. 50 per annum depending on qualifications and experience - Holiday Entitlement 25 Days plus bank and public holidays per annum pro rata. Closing Date 20th July 2025 @ Midday - Interviews to take place on the 31 st of July. Hertford Reginal College are recruiting for an Academic Department administrator. About The Role You will play a key role in supporting the administrative needs of curriculum areas within our Academic Directorates. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of administrative processes, working closely with curriculum teams. Your day-to-day tasks will include general typing of official correspondence, maintaining accurate data across college systems, supporting exam arrangements, and coordinating student application processes. You will also help ensure course information is up to date and accessible online. This is a vital role for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and keen to support high-quality learning experiences through effective administration. About You You will be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent), with a minimum of grade C/4 in English and Maths. You'll bring strong secretarial and administrative skills, along with proven experience in a similar administrative role. With a keen eye for detail, you are confident managing information efficiently and accurately, particularly within a further education environment. You are highly organised, proactive, and committed to providing a professional, customer-focused service to both staff and students.
