About The Role
Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Senior Account Handler to join the Direct Corporate Risks team in their Billericay office.
As an experienced Senior Account Handler you will process vehicle adjustments, MID updates, liaise with clients and insurers on vehicle and fleet related queries, manage data input, processing and invoicing for new clients.
Direct Corporate Risks is a specialist insurance broker established in 1996, focusing on Waste & Recycling, Haulage and High Risk Liability sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of clients, liaising daily with clients, answering incoming telephone enquiries and handling necessary policy amendments on motor fleet policies, including updating the MID and discussing risks with insurers and client.
* Negotiating terms/quotes with underwriters.
* Account management including renewal chasers through to file closures.
* Undertaking vehicle amendments and adjustments, including updating the Motor Insurance Database.
* New business processing, finance set‑ups and documentation issue.
What You'll Need to Have
* Proven experience working in the UK insurance industry, from a Sales, Account Management or Underwriting background.
* Outcome focused, self‑motivated, enthusiastic & strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage your own time and prioritise work without supervision to meet deadlines.
* Able to communicate effectively with others.
* Strong contribution to the team through own ideas, initiatives and concepts.
