IFA Administrator - Cambridge
Working in collaboration with Financial Advisers and other colleagues, you will assist the Financial Advisers in preparing recommendations and producing suitability reports in line with company policy, including preparing and maintaining client records, data gathering, and application form preparation and submission. The role will involve promoting the company’s services in a professional and FCA compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication.
2. Record client communications (written, oral, or electronic) on the client’s file in line with company policy in clear and intelligible English.
3. Collect and collate client information and data, ensuring all compliance documentation is present and correct.
4. Discuss client objectives with the Financial Adviser and gather necessary information to compile financial reports.
5. Liaise with product providers and third parties to acquire additional information for assessing client needs and recommendations.
6. Assist in identifying planning areas and sourcing suitable solutions, including tax calculations when necessary.
7. Obtain quotes, illustrations, and product details for analysis.
8. Prepare suitability letters and reports for approval, including pre-completed documentation for clients to review and sign.
9. Support administrative functions such as new business processing, income matching, and organizing future meetings.

The successful candidate will be delivery-oriented and well-organized, with experience in a financial planning environment. Candidates who are CII or RO part-qualified are preferred, with a salary reflecting this experience.
