Warehouse Operative
Plymouth | £13.51 per hour | Shift work: 2 weeks 6am - 2pm followed by 2 week 2pm - 10pm | 37.5 hours per week | Temporary to permanent
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern and busy manufacturing company in Plymouth, who is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a forklift licence to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a physically demanding role, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting.
Key Duties:
* Unloading delivery vehicles and checking incoming stock against shipping documents.
* Identifying discrepancies or damages and signing for deliveries accordingly.
* Accurately picking and packing orders according to special instructions.
* Preparing shipments for dispatch and loading/unloading outbound vehicles.
* Managing order requirements in a timely and organised manner.
* Inputting order details correctly on delivery service provider portals.
* Ensuring stock accuracy through careful handling and documentation.
Requirements:
* A forklift licence.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling environment.
* Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items throughout the day.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
* Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
* Team player with a positive and reliable attitude.
