SEN Teaching Assistant – ARP Unit (KS1) Location: Enfield, London Pay: £85–£100 per day Contract: Full-time, temporary Start: ASAP Are you a passionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a truly meaningful role? We are recruiting an experienced SEN TA to join a specialist ARP unit within a welcoming and inclusive primary setting in Enfield. This full-time role involves supporting KS1 pupils with Autism and complex needs, including personal care. The ARP class supports 11 children across mixed ages and year groups, with a strong staff ratio of 4 adults, creating a calm, collaborative and well-supported working environment. The Role You will be part of a close-knit SEN team, supporting pupils with: • Autism and complex learning needs • Communication, social interaction and sensory regulation • Daily routines, independence skills and personal care You’ll be encouraged to get down to the children’s level, using a playful, patient and nurturing approach while maintaining clear boundaries and structure. The setting benefits from extensive outdoor grounds, allowing learning and regulation to take place both indoors and outside.
