Manufacturing Engineering Serial Process Engineer – Broughton
Carbon60 is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineering Serial Process Engineer to join our client, a leading aviation company specialising in aircraft manufacturing, at their Broughton site.
About the Role: As the Manufacturing Engineering Serial Process Engineer, you’ll be the vital link between the Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering Team, and Production. You’ll manage and maintain work instructions derived from technical drawings, using SAP, and play a key role in optimising production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and write assembly work processes, create specifications for assembly tools, and implement production modifications.
* Ensure consistency between manufacturing engineering dossiers and design dossiers.
* Launch parts and assembly items, provide on-site support, and prepare additional work instructions for disruptions or breakdowns.
* Analyse anomaly statuses, optimise procedures, and write concessions.
* Participate in defining products, production and verification methods, and contribute to industrial work-sharing.
* Propose design/production breakdowns, define manufacturing schedules, and specify interfaces.
* Analyse design dossiers and issue queries as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong knowledge of assembly systems, machining processes, and/or manual assembly methods.
* Extensive experience in work preparation and industrialisation.
* Curiosity, creativity, and excellent organisational, anticipation, and team skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
* Experience using SAP for work preparation.
Pay Rates:
* £27.66 per hour PAYE
* £37.00 per hour Umbrella
Inside IR35 Contract position until the end of September 2026.
