Commercial Debt Recoveries Solicitor – Banbury – DOE
An established and well-respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Debt Recoveries Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team based in Banbury.
The Role
* You will manage a varied caseload of commercial debt recovery matters, acting for a broad portfolio of businesses ranging from SMEs to national organisations. The work will include:
* Advising clients on pre-action strategy and recovery prospects
* Issuing county court and high court proceedings
* Enforcement action, including charging orders, third-party debt orders and insolvency processes
* Drafting pleadings, statements of case and settlement agreements
* Conducting negotiations and managing defended debt claims
* Working closely with internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* 2+ years’ PQE within commercial litigation or debt recovery (all levels considered)
* Strong knowledge of the CPR and debt recovery procedures
* A commercial, solution-focused approach
* Excellent communication and client-care skills
* Ability to manage volume work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
