Overview
Children’s Residential Registered Manager for a small 3‑bed home in Coastal Lancashire. The home supports low‑complexity emotional and behavioural needs (EBD) and has a settled group of young people, a full staffing team, and a supportive leadership network across five partner homes. This is not a high‑risk setting, but it requires a confident, experienced manager who can bring consistency, warmth and strong leadership. The home has historically achieved Good and Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the staff team to deliver high‑quality, child‑focused care
* Create a safe, settled and nurturing home environment
* Maintain strong safeguarding practices
* Ensure Ofsted compliance and high standards of care
* Oversee care plans, risk assessments and audits
* Build strong relationships with professionals and local authorities
* Drive improvements in a calm, steady and sustainable way
* Be based at a 3‑bed home in Coastal Lancashire
Essential requirements
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
