Il Bistro are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service, knowledge of the menu, and a commitment to hospitality. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Responsibilities
* Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly attitude.
* Take accurate food and drink orders using the point-of-sale system.
* Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
* Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Skills
* Strong hospitality skills with a passion for guest services.
* Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in serving roles.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
* Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
