Role Overview
We are looking for a Minor Surgery Nurse / Theatre Assistant to join our Provide Wellbeing team, covering vasectomy clinics in Harpenden, Abbots Langley and Sawbridgeworth, on a bank basis. Clinics in these areas typically run from 08:30 until 17:00, which includes set up and end of day activity. Clinics are available predominantly on Mondays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
* Preparing the room for the surgeon - cleaning and laying out instruments using the aseptic technique.
* Attending to/talking to patient during surgery.
* Providing post-operative information verbally and in leaflet format.
* Scanning of patient consent forms.
* Communicating with the admin team regarding any stock that needs to be replenished.

Some of you will be familiar with the term 'bank', Workforce Solutions works on the same basis but offers greater flexibility.
