We’re currently looking for someone to join our team for three days a week on a 12-month fixed-term basis for maternity leave cover.
On any given day, you’ll be:
* Creating, maintaining, and delivering social media campaigns for clients as part of our package, Yardstick Engage, which you can find out more about on our website
* Running onboarding calls with new clients (with support initially)
* Tracking client results using analytics
* Leading check-in meetings with existing clients to review the progress of their current campaigns
* Utilising internal databases to record and monitor your activity online

* Optimising social media profiles for new and existing clients
* Any other ad-hoc duties as required… we’re a busy, fast-paced department!
We’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience in managing social media campaigns, particularly in regard to content creation. You need to be proficient at writing professional, engaging copy and creating “scroll-stopping” images.
You will be passionate about producing excellent results for our clients and the highest quality work. We want someone who isn’t afraid of being held to (and holding others to) high standards.
As Steve Jobs said: “Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”
If you’re the person we’re looking for, we need you to be able to demonstrate:
* First and foremost, you’ll be an experienced copywriter with a love and passion for writing engaging content
* Proficiency in producing compelling social media posts (text and media) that will achieve our clients’ aims and be suitable for their target audience
* Experience with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, but also Facebook and Instagram
* A willingness to learn about financial services if you don’t have prior knowledge
* A highly organised, methodical, and proactive approach to your responsibilities
* An ability to work independently and flexibly
* An ability to juggle social media campaigns for a variety of clients across numerous accounts, which may include posting, reacting, commenting, sharing, and sending connection requests
* An ability to analyse data and communicate it in an accessible way
* Ideally, experience using Canva to produce eye-catching designs to use alongside posts
* An acceptance and understanding of the importance of tracking your time using the work management tool, Asana
* A positive attitude and a can-do approach to work and life
* Confidence, excellent attention to detail, good communication, and being able to work as part of a small team are also essential skills
* You need to be comfortable using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace as you will be expected to log activity within existing worksheets that use these software packages
Note: We’ll only consider applications that provide a CV, a covering letter and, ideally, examples of your work.
