£100-£200 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education is working with a SEMH Provision in North Manchester that is looking to recruit a 2 day a week intervention specialist teaching assistant. This is a part-time, longer-term role from January 2026.
The School:
1. Specialist setting for secondary aged students with SEMH & Complex Needs
2. Ofsted-rated ‘Good’; the school is recognised for its broad curriculum and commitment to inclusion
3. Based in Blackley, North Manchester local to public transport and M60 – ideal to commute from Bury, Manchester and Oldham
The Role:
4. Part-time intervention role, working with KS3-4 learners with SEMH & Complex Needs
5. Working outside of the classroom delivering targeted intervention to a range of learners
6. Working with other adults/ professionals – including outside agencies to promote the best possible bespoke support for the student and their needs
The Candidate:
7. Experience delivering targeted intervention to pupils with additional needs
8. Experience working with SEMH & Complex Needs
