Senior HR Business Partners Location: Midlands (1/2 days per week office base/Hybrid) with some travel Up to £70,000 basic salary plus benefits About the Roles We are seeking commercially focused Senior HR Business Partner s to drive leadership effectiveness, strengthen people-risk management, and enhance organisational performance for our PE backed client. This is a strategic and hands-on role, partnering with senior leaders to embed high-performance behaviours and ensure people strategies directly support business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Commercial Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning people strategy with commercial objectives Translate business strategy into workforce planning, capability, and talent priorities Use data and insights to inform decision-making and drive measurable performance improvements Leadership & Culture Develop and embed strong leadership behaviours aligned to organisational values Coach and challenge senior leaders to build high-performing, accountable teams Lead culture and engagement initiatives that enhance performance and retention People Risk & Governance Proactively identify and mitigate people-related risks (attrition, capability gaps, ER exposure, succession risk) Strengthen organisational resilience through robust succession planning and talent management Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal governance frameworks Performance & Capability Drive performance management processes that reward accountability and results Support organisational design and change initiatives Lead strategic workforce planning and capability development About You Significant experience as an HR Business Partner within a complex, fast-paced environment ideally gained experience with multi-site FMCG/Retail/Logistics/Hospitiality sectors Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link people strategy to financial outcomes Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving behavioural change with a strong coaching capability to develop commerciality of Managers Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with confidence as well as TUPE knowledge Data-driven, strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
