About the Role Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for female Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to support a young woman returning home after a long hospital stay. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by helping her transition safely and confidently into her home environment. She lives with complex long-term conditions including chronic pancreatitis, hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos features, chronic pain and neurodivergent needs. HCAs will work alongside a Registered Nurse during the day to provide practical and emotional support, ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently. You’ll provide person-centred care including: Assisting with mobility and transfers Supporting bowel care routines under RN guidance Helping with personal care and daily living tasks Providing reassurance and calm, structured communication Supporting activities such as shopping trips or light household tasks Feeding her cats and helping with small home tasks she cannot manage You’ll be supported by clear protocols and a Nurse Practitioner-led team to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.
