Overview Of The Role
The Team Leader provides support and guidance to social care workers, ensuring the highest level of care and leading by example. The role involves liaising with senior staff, reporting concerns and expanding knowledge within the care sector.
Key Duties
* Lead and support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential care setting
* Supervise a team and assist with overall management of the home
* Liaise with managers and other shift leaders
* Execute tasks allocated in a professional, timely and accurate manner
* Supervise and share mealtimes with residents, encouraging a positive attitude towards food and dining
* Assist residents with daily activities, both in and out of the home
* Use initiative when supporting residents during activities and day‑to‑day tasks

Where Will You Work?
Dibden View is a purpose‑built, detached property located near Fareham and Gosport, opening in 2016. It supports nine adults with mental health conditions including schizophrenia, personality disorder, anxiety and PTSD, ranging in age from the mid‑30s to early 60s. The home offers person‑centred support, positive behaviour support, ongoing education, employment, leisure, and social opportunities.
