Senior Front End Engineer
Working at our iconic office in King's Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Your new role at NewDay
As a Senior Software Engineer you will develop innovative products, services and interfaces for our customers and partners. Key contributor to web design and architecture to deliver the best user experience. We expect engineers to have the desire of curiosity, passion, a driven, enthusiastic mentality, to be proficient in algorithms, problem solving, and crafting scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. Effective communication is an attribute we care deeply about, as an engineer you and your team will move in a fast-paced engineering environment to achieve outstanding results.

What you'll bring
We need knowledge, experience & expertise in:
• React experience (minimum of 3 years)
• Integrating with services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Strong testing experience from code quality through to security, customer journeys and accessibility
• Excellent knowledge of writing semantic, accessible and modular front-end code
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
And we would love you to know or learn:
• Micro-frontend architecture
• Practical experience setting-up and running CI/CD pipelines
• Using Storybook, atomic design principles and design language systems
