Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Ormskirk
Work pattern: Office based with client visits
Salary: £29,000-£35,000
Driving licence is essential for this role.
This growing team is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with users to deliver excellent support.
The role offers a balance of helpdesk responsibilities and on-site client visits, providing opportunities to build strong relationships while developing technical skills. Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st and 2nd line support via helpdesk, phone, remote tools, and on-site visits.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
* Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, cloud migrations, and server support.
* Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure and telecoms systems.
* Deliver excellent customer service and help maintain strong client relationships.
Key Skills
* Experience working in a 1st/2nd Line role within an MSP environment.
* Hands-on experience with installations and network builds.
* Possesses strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktop and server environments.
* Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and general server administration.
* Understands networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, firewalls, and Wi-Fi technologies.
* Experience supporting and configuring Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, and Azure AD.
