Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Content Manager - EMEA who is strategic yet hands-on to help us elevate our content marketing efforts.
You will take the lead in developing an insight-focused content strategy and support the development of campaigns that align with our business objectives across the EMEA region. This role involves writing short and long-form thought leadership content, producing marketing materials for products/services across all channels, and overseeing content translation for key EMEA markets.
You will collaborate with the Global Content Centre of Excellence and the EMEA marketing team to implement a global-to-regional content strategy that drives business outcomes. Additionally, you will work directly with underwriters, claims teams, and risk engineers to showcase Chubb’s expertise, and occasionally commission work from freelancers.
The position is based in London or Madrid, with the possibility of working from home two days a week. It reports to the Head of Marketing Communications and Brand EMEA and is part of a regional team supporting 27 countries, working alongside 20+ colleagues in marketing and communications. Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain relationships with business partners to stay informed on customer and broker issues, market trends, and competitor activity.
2. Create and manage an editorial calendar, ensuring timely content production in collaboration with the Global Content Centre of Excellence.
3. Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for various channels, including email, web, social media, events, and promotional materials. Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers for content development and translation, adhering to Chubb’s communication guidelines.
4. Manage the production of marketing collateral, including developing agency briefs, translations, and distribution.
5. Develop targeted marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers.
6. Support larger projects alongside the Head of Marketing Communications and Brand.
Qualifications
* Experience in content marketing within the insurance or regulated industries; early career professionals are encouraged to apply.
* Curiosity about the insurance industry and quick learning ability.
* Experience collaborating across multiple countries in EMEA is a plus.
* Innovative, proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong project management and communication skills.
* Excellent English writing and editing skills; additional European languages are a plus.
* Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AEM, and digital asset management systems.
* Degree in marketing, journalism, or related field preferred.
