Our client, who is based near Dartford, is looking for a hands-on Customer Service Team Leader to guide, motivate and develop a small team that takes real pride in supporting their customers from first enquiry all the way through to aftersales care.
Job Title: Customer Service Team Leader
Salary: £38.000 - £40,000
Location: Near Dartford
What you'll be doing:
* Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of Customer Service Advisors
* Making sure every customer interaction is accurate, efficient, and delivered with care
* Reviewing enquiries, quotes and orders to keep everything running smoothly
* Helping to shape better processes and support the move towards digital tools
* Holding regular one-to-ones and coaching sessions to keep team morale and motivation high
* Working closely with other departments to strengthen communication
* Tracking key service metrics and spotting opportunities to improve performance
What you'll bring:
* Experience leading or supervising a customer service or sales support team
* A practical approach to process improvement
* Confidence with CRM/ERP systems and data management (Excel skills a plus!)
* A natural communicator who's both empathetic and efficient
* Organised, analytical, and full of ideas to make the customer journey even better
