We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Agriculture Relationship Manager.



You’ll provide dedicated customer service to a portfolio of Agriculture clients with accountability for sales, service, risk and operational delivery. You will have both external and internal stakeholders, internal stakeholders may include Sales, Product Development, Risk & Compliance teams.

In this role you’ll:

* Conduct face to face meetings with Agriculture customers, with up to 80 clients in portfolio
* Provide outstanding customer service to these clients
* Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business
* Grow the business sustainably, by identifying opportunities to expand the portfolio and broadening client relationships by leveraging HSBC's extensive network
* Learn about the customer's business and industry to promote insights, enrich client conversations and deliver fair outcomes
* Conduct pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
* Manage financial crime risk by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring and mitigating risk while adhering to HSBC’s operational risk standards and policies



To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a desire to make a difference
* Experience of working in Commercial Banking or a similar entity
* Agricultural sector knowledge would be advantageous
* Knowledge and understanding of commercial credit and lending
* Experience of building effective networks and developing trusted relationships
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* An understanding of risk management with experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with our policies and the relevant regulatory processes



This role will cover Derbyshire and the surrounding area, travel will be expected.
