W4G Fire & Security is currently recruiting for one dynamic Security Operations Co-Ordinator / Workforce Planner in Sowton, Exeter to join our passionate and driven Security Team We want to hire immediately.
Duties:
Recruitment, Security Screening & Onboarding
Lead the recruitment process, including security screening and onboarding to meet regulatory and company standards.
Training & Development
Ensure training opportunities and relevant courses are provided to employees and that they are completed in a timely fashion. Also that results and certifications are kept logged and up to date. t
Initial Equipment & Uniform Management for officers joining the team.
Ensure that security officers are properly equipped and maintain uniform standards.
Maintain up-to-date personnel records in line with GDPR and company policy.
Monitor training and certification compliance (e.g., SIA license renewals, first aid, fire safety).
Track probationary reviews, contract renewals, and staff performance issues.
Assist operations management with workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage and skill mix across all shifts.
Liaise with the scheduling/rostering team to ensure staff availability aligns with contract and legal limits (e.g., working time regulations).
Track and report absenteeism, turnover trends, and other workforce KPIs to management.
Qualifications:
Experience of working within a recruitment or HR coordination role would be advantageous. However, full training is provided and we are looking for individuals with a go-to attitude, friendly nature and great communication skills.
You will be agile and effective in responding quickly to situations as they arise.
Attention to detail, the ability to work strategically and think one step ahead will be essential.
A demonstrable understanding of what quality looks like in your day-to-day work; as a company we endeavour to exceed expectations and deliver outstanding results.
Organised, efficient and able to multi-task - candidates who are adaptable and results orientated are most likely to thrive in this role
You will possess excellent organisational skills and will be disciplined in following processes and procedures to ensure quality and consistency
You will be fully conversant with Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word & Excel
The successful candidate will be required to undertake security screening following BS:7858 which will include a full unbroken 5-year period of referencing for which you will be required to provide full address history and employment / education details.
