Candidates must hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or an equivalent qualification and must either be on the Specialist Register, or in possession of a CCT at the time of taking up the appointment. However the department is delighted to entertain expressions of interest from individuals who are within 6 months of attaining CCT or have reasonable prospects of getting a CESR within 1 year. The post will be primarily located at the Queens Medical Centre campus although the successful applicant will be required to provide sessions at the sites we provide a Paediatric Radiology service. The timetable will be flexible to enable cross cover of essential services on a rota.
A successful applicant would be required to be part of a dedicated Paediatric on call rota, which has a frequency of 1:8. Informal visits and discussions are encouraged.
