Key responsibilities of Lead Maintenance Engineer: Manage, guide and mentor your teamEnsure high quality production output is achieved through effective maintenance.Use PPM`s to ensure minimal downtime.Monitor processes and equipment, report variances and take corrective action.Communicate malfunctions to relevant people or departments.Respond to unplanned maintenance breakdown events.Complete engineering project work as required for installation and modifications to equipment and processes. Experience and skills required: Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC levelMulti skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience. (ideally electrically biased)Ideally apprenticeship trained.Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production.Food manufacturing experience would be very advantageous.
